What We Address
Behavior modification targets the “why” behind the behavior—not just the outburst you see. We work cases involving leash reactivity, fear/anxiety, over-arousal, handling sensitivity, resource guarding, and dog- or human-directed aggression. Each case starts with history taking and observation to identify triggers, thresholds, and patterns so we can design a plan that’s realistic for your home, schedule, and dog.
How We Work
Your program begins with a structured risk and environment audit, clear management steps (muzzle conditioning, equipment, handling routes), and a training roadmap. We use desensitization and counter-conditioning, pattern games, engagement building, and impulse-control drills to create new defaults. Rewards drive learning; fair accountability is added only after criteria are understood and safety is in place. When appropriate, we coordinate with your veterinarian to rule out medical contributors and support a full-picture approach.
Outcomes You Can Expect
Expect calmer walks, improved neutrality around triggers, reliable stationing/“place,” easier handling, and predictable routines that lower stress for everyone. You’ll leave with visitor and doorway protocols, decompression strategies, and a step-down plan for management as skills improve. While no trainer can promise a “cure” for aggression, we focus on meaningful risk reduction and day-to-day reliability—so you have a dog you can guide safely and confidently.
